Owner & Visionary

Five Oceans. One Mother. An Eternal Bond.

Before the world knew the name Waka Flocka Flame, before the music, the stages, and the extraordinary journey that would follow, there was a mother.

Debra “Ms. Deb” Antney.

A woman whose strength would shape lives, whose sacrifices would lay foundations, and whose love would become the first home her children would ever know.

From her womb came five sons.

Tyquam Alexander. Nyquan Malphurs, known as Wooh da Kid. Juaquin Malphurs, whom the world would come to know as Waka Flocka Flame. Rahleek Malphurs. And KayO Redd.

Five sons, each carrying a different spirit, a different purpose, a different destiny.

Five lives born of one woman. Five oceans flowing from one source.

Some journeys would lead to extraordinary heights. Others would end far sooner than any family could have imagined. With the passing of his younger brothers, Rahleek and KayO, Waka came to understand something that neither fame nor fortune could ever teach.

That life is precious. That time is borrowed. And that love does not end where life does.

The ocean became a fitting reflection of that truth.

Vast enough to hold a thousand stories. Deep enough to carry memories that words cannot reach. Powerful enough to change the shape of the shore, yet gentle enough to bring us back to where we began.

And though the tides may carry us in different directions, the waters remain connected.

Five brothers. One mother. A bond that neither distance nor time can dissolve.

This is the meaning behind 5 Oceans.

A name that honors the woman who gave them life, the brothers who share that beginning, and the love that continues to flow through generations.

But Waka did not want that love to remain only a memory.

He wanted to give it somewhere to live.

And he chose Riverdale.

The community that helped raise him. The streets that witnessed his beginnings. The place where he learned that joy can exist alongside struggle, that generosity is not measured by wealth, and that sometimes the greatest gift you can offer another person is the simple feeling that they matter.

Through 5 Oceans, Waka has transformed something deeply personal into something meant to be shared.

A place where families can gather, where milestones can be celebrated, where extraordinary food can be enjoyed without extraordinary expense.

A place where the elegance of fine dining meets the warmth of home.

Where every person who walks through the doors is reminded that beauty, quality, and belonging should never be privileges reserved for a fortunate few.

Because what began as a tribute to five sons has become an invitation to an entire community.

Five Oceans was born from a mother’s love.

It was shaped by a son’s vision.

And it was created to give that love back to the people and the place he calls home.

Five lives. One love. Endless oceans.
